Where do I study?
We know that your time is important. Thus we offer you Romanian classes at your home, in the company where you work, online or some other designated location in Bucharest. In this way you will study in a comfortable and familiar environment. Save time and let the teacher come to you!
Romanian School even offers you the possibility to study online according to your needs (free connection on Skype).
How many students may participate in the course?
You may study individually or within a group of people, according to your preferences and your needs.
Individual Classes
The advantages of this type of course are numerous. All the materials and teaching methods are personalized and adapted to your own level, your rhythm, your learning style and your language needs. For example if you want to study business language or any other technical language (depending on your profession) the teacher will prepare articles and topics for you in any of these areas. If you need lessons in conversation, the teacher will help you to develop and improve your speaking skills.
As a single student, you have the advantage to change both the date and the frequency of the lessons (in agreement with your teacher).
Group Classes
- This type of course is best suited for families or for employees of the same company.
- The advantages of this type of course are the following:
- A lower cost per student per hour
- More dynamic and interactive lessons
Our teachers have a diversity of games and interesting activities which engage the entire group of students in learning Romanian together.
There is an initial evaluation of each student at the beginning of the course in order to form a cohesive group of learners (this evaluation is not applied to absolute beginners).
Group classes benefit from a discount according to the number of students in the group. (see price)
How do I get the study materials?
Romanian School offers you all the materials that you need for your study (for any level of study: beginner, intermediate or advanced).
Every student will receive the following:
- Manuals and workbooks
- Notebooks
- Personalized hand-outs
- Other helping materials (words lists, the verb wheel with the most used verbs in Romanian etc)
- Bilingual dictionaries
What is the length of the course?
The length of the course depends on your needs. Romanian School can offer you both normal and intensive scheduling. For a complete achievement we recommend a total of 80 hours for the first level (beginners), 100 hours for the second level (intermediate) and 100 hours for the third level (advanced), although this recommendation of ours is based on the average student.

How is my language level evaluated?
There is an initial evaluation to test your language level (this type of evaluation is not applied on absolute beginners).
There is also a final evaluation at the end of each level which demonstrates your Romanian knowledge for your own benefit or according to your company’s requirements.
